  When I held my first crystal I felt something almost immediately, I was getting drawn in and I knew that it was the crystal for me. Shortly after buying it I did some research online about certain crystals and how they work, why did it effect me the way that it did? I came to realise that certain crystals work differently for different people. They still have the same properties but can be used for many things. I can get confused pretty quickly so I just settled researching the crystals from Judy Hall to stop any conflicting suggestions.   So cleansing your crystals can be done in so many ways depending on what you feel like works best for you. Just remember to meditate as it helps to feel more grounded to the earth. If you have just got yourself a new crystal then it is important to do the process. Crystals that you buy in a shop or online have been on a journey and you just don't know what types of energy has touched it. When you work with crystals you want to work on a "clean slate" and to take ownership of the energy. I personally like to use the  smudging  effect, this is where you hold a inscense under the crystal so it gets covered in its cleansing smoke. There are certain incense that you can use. For me I tend to use white sage, it has been used for many years to ward of evil spirits and to rid negative energy around the room.   Many of you out there may have heard of crystals and maybe even brought one for no reason at all!
